A History of
Courage and
Strength
The Duna River, also commonly known as the Danube River, is the longest river in Europe. The river flows through 10 countries in Central and Eastern Europe: Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova, and Ukraine. The grandmother of Hagai Barlev, CEO of Duna, escaped the Nazi invasion of Hungary during World War II by fleeing the country on ships down the Duna River. Her courageous actions have built the foundation of our firm, and her inspiration to us is shown through our work at Duna Real Estate.
